Since it’s June, I thought I would do a series on dads in the Bible. You would think I would have a lot of good examples. But, unfortunately, I could only really think of three: Job, Joshua, and Joseph.
Monday, we start with Job.
Friday is a book review of what’s essentially the Cliff Notes of philosopher Charles Taylor’s 874-page book, A Secular Age.
Saturday, the round-up. Comments are open to all with that.
I know money is tight. This site is one of four jobs I currently work to make ends meet. So, if you would like a paid subscription but can’t afford one, email asimpleroguescholar at gmail dot com. I will comp you for a year.
